Good news from the AdwCleaner team: AdwCleaner 8.7.0 is now available in beta.
This new release focuses on important internal improvements rather than visible UI changes. The way AdwCleaner handles JSON data—which is heavily used internally—has been significantly optimized, resulting in better stability and improved performance, especially during scans and data processing.
AdwCleaner 8.7.0 also fixes a security vulnerability:
- CVE-2025-67905 – Privilege Escalation issue
Users testing the beta are strongly encouraged to update, as this fix improves the overall security posture of the tool.
